Realme has confirmed key details for its upcoming P4 smartphone lineup ahead of the official launch in India on August 20.
The Realme P4 series will include two models — the P4 5G and the P4 Pro 5G. Both will be available on Flipkart and Realme’s own website. Company executives have indicated there will be no “Ultra” version this time, part of an effort to streamline the brand’s offerings in the country.
For the standard Realme P4 5G, the company says it will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor and include a dedicated Pixelworks chip for visual enhancements. The phone will have a 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness under certain conditions. It also supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming, along with hardware-based blue light and flicker reduction.
The P4 5G will pack a 7,000mAh Titan battery with 80W fast charging, which Realme claims can reach 50 percent charge in around 25 minutes. The company also says users can expect up to 11 hours of Battlegrounds Mobile India gameplay. Other features include reverse charging, AI smart charging, bypass charging, and a 7,000 sq mm AirFlow VC cooling system.
The Realme P4 Pro 5G, meanwhile, will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with a HyperVision AI GPU. It shares the same 7,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging as the base model, but offers 10W reverse charging and claims of over eight hours of BGMI gameplay at 90FPS. The phone will be 7.68mm thick and also features the same cooling system as its sibling.
Its display, a HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ panel, refreshes at 144Hz and reaches up to 6,500 nits peak brightness. Like the standard model, it carries HDR10+ certification but uses a higher-frequency 4,320Hz dimming system. TÜV Rheinland certification covers its eye protection features.
Realme’s Head of Product Marketing Francis Wong has hinted at a price tag under ₹30,000 for both models. While that puts them in the midrange segment, the company is clearly betting on display quality, battery life, and gaming performance to set them apart.
