Infinix isn’t slowing down. Hot on the heels of the Zero Ultra, the company has just dropped its new mid-range phone in India, the GT 30 5G+. It’s being pitched to gamers, but it looks like a great all-around device for anyone.
Under the hood, it’s packing some serious power with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, up to 8GB of super-fast RAM, and a hefty 256GB of storage. On the software front, it runs a clean version of Android 15, and Infinix is guaranteeing two major OS updates and three years of security fixes.
The 8GB + 128GB model starts at Rs. 19,499, whereas the 8GB + 256GB costs Rs. 20,999. It goes on sale August 14 through Flipkart. Color options are Blade White, Cyber Green, and Pulse Blue for buyers to choose.
GT 30 5G+: Equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR support, TÜV Rheinland Eye Care Certification, and protected by Gorilla Glass 7i The panel features: 2,160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 4,500nits peak brightness, and 2,304Hz PWM dimming rate.
Targeted at mobile gamers, the phone features GT Shoulder Triggers — capacitive buttons located on the right edge of the device — which can be assigned to in-game controls or functions such as taking photos or controlling video playback. The company also claims that Battlegrounds Mobile India(BGMI) can run at up to 90fps on the device.
It comes with XBoost AI tools which includes along with Magic Voice Changer, Zone Touch Master and Esports mode. Cooling is managed via a 6-layer 3D vapour chamber cooling system.
The GT 30 5G+ sports a dual camera arrangement on the back; it features a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 main sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide камера. A 13-megapixel camera handles selfies. Customizable Mecha Light LED strips with more than 10 lighting patterns are included on the rear panel.
At the back, there is a 5,500mAh battery providing the power along with 45W rapid rate charging, pass-by charging to lower the warmth when playing games, and 10W reverse cable charging. Under the hood, the phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash-proof rating, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C support.
Infinix, in the Indian market, recently extended its gaming line up with the GT 30 5G+ after the GT 30 Pro 5G launched in June.
