On Wednesday, Google revealed its Pixel 10 lineup in India, featuring the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, all powered by the Tensor G5 processor and Gemini camera tools.
The Pixel 10 is priced at Rs. 79,999, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are set at Rs. 1,09,999 and Rs. 1,24,999. All variants come with 256GB of storage and will be available through Flipkart.
Display and Hardware
The standard Pixel 10 comes with a 6.3-inch OLED Super Actua display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Both the front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device runs Android 16 out of the box and is promised seven years of software and security updates.
It ships with 12GB of RAM and includes features like IP68 dust and water resistance, Qi2 wireless charging, and compatibility with Google’s Pixel Snap accessories. A vapor cooling chamber has been added to help with heat management during prolonged use.
Camera System
AI-powered imaging on the Pixel 10 includes a 48MP main rear camera, a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide sensor, plus a 10.5MP selfie camera.
The Camera Coach, powered by Gemini AI, gives real-time tips for better shots. The base model supports up to 20x Super Res Zoom.
The Pro and Pro XL models offer 50MP primary cameras, 48MP ultrawide and telephoto lenses with 5x optical zoom, and 42MP front cameras. They also support Pro Res Zoom up to 100x.
Battery and Charging
With a 4,970mAh battery, the Pixel 10 supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The Pro and XL models feature 4,870mAh and 5,200mAh batteries, with the XL offering 45W wired charging.
Availability and Colors
The Pixel 10 comes in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian. The Pro and Pro XL arrive in Jade, Moonstone, and Obsidian, with an extra Porcelain option for the Pro.
India has become a key market for Google in the premium smartphone segment. The company has grown its presence via online partnerships, with Flipkart as its main distribution channel.
Whether these models can compete with Apple and Samsung’s dominance in the region is a question buyers will answer in the coming months.
