The Dhaka Education Board will publish the re-evaluation results of the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations at 10am on Sunday, August 11.
In a notice released Thursday, the board confirmed that students who applied for rechecking will need to access their updated results through its official website. The instructions have already been made available online.
This is a standard follow-up to the main result publication. The original results were released on July 10. As always, students who were not satisfied with their scores were given the chance to request a review. Applications were open between July 11 and July 17 through Teletalk’s SMS system.
Over 6.66 lakh students failed the exams this year, across all nine general education boards, as well as the Madrasa and Technical boards. Of them, 3,24,716 were boys and 2,75,944 were girls.
There’s no word yet on how many of those students applied for re-evaluation. Still, this stage often brings minor corrections, and for some students, even a small change can affect their academic path.
Most schools and parents are aware of the process. But it’s not clear whether all students understand how the re-evaluation works. The system doesn’t involve remarking the full paper — just a review to ensure marks were added correctly and nothing was left unchecked.
Waiting for results? A simple tip for students and guardians: have your roll number ready. Plan to check the board’s website that morning, but be prepared for delays. The servers always get flooded with traffic, so patience will be key.
It’s unclear whether any changes in grades will lead to further university admission adjustments. That varies by institution.
For now, all eyes are on Sunday.
