Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Specifications Leak Ahead of Official Launch

What's the story

Details regarding Google’s upcoming foldable flagship have emerged ahead of the formal unveiling scheduled for the August 20 “Made by Google” presentation. The forthcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold was exposed through a set of comprehensive specifications circulated within industry channels.

As detailed, the foldable handset will integrate the new Tensor G5 System on Chip, with a companion Tensor M2 dedicated security processor. The primary pliable OLED panel will measure 8.0 inches diagonally, complemented by a 6.4-inch cover OLED. Both displays will support a 120Hz adaptive refresh, HDR rendering, and peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

Consumers will have the option of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage, supported by 16GB of LPDDR5X memory. The device will launch with Android 16 and will be guaranteed seven years of software and security updates. Several AI-driven enhancements have also been identified, including Gemini Nano, Gemini Live, Circle to Search, and Call Assist.

Viewfinder analysis suggests that the forthcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold will utilize a tri-camera architecture anchored by a 48MP primary module, flanked by a 10.5MP ultra-wide and a 10.8MP periscopic lens capable of 10X optical magnification. A 10MP front sensor will be embedded beneath both the external and the internal displays. Video specifications are anticipated to encompass 4K resolution at 60fps, HDR10+ exposure, and a slow-motion mode that stretches to 240fps.

An internal 5,015mAh battery is rumored alongside 30W wired, 15W Qi, and reverse wireless charging. Connectivity is likely to be anchored by the Wi-Fi 7 standard, an upgraded Bluetooth 6.0 stack, NFC, precise GNSS, and dual active SIM slots. Weight is recorded at 258 grams, with Moonstone and Jade leak-driven color selections.

On integration, this model would complement the Pixel 10 lineup, which also includes the standard Pixel 10, the 10 Pro, and a 10 Pro XL variant. The XL is projected to be the inaugural Pixel achieving an IP68 ingress rating, thereby tightening the competitive landscape against Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Vivo’s X Fold 5.

Official channel silence remains regarding the dossier. Confirmation is anticipated at the launch keynote scheduled for August 20.
