Infinix has furthered its Hot 60 series in India by debuting the Hot 60i 5G, a pocket-friendly 5G handset tailored for first-time adopters of the network. Sales commence August 21 at an introductory price of Rs. 9,299 via Flipkart and a selective array of offline retailers. Promotional bank discounts reduce the net price to Rs. 8,999.
The device is offered in Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Plum Red, and Sleek Black.
Design and Display
The device incorporates a dual-tone surface treatment and meets IP64 ingress protection standards against dust and limited water splashes. TÜV verification claims that the unit will sustain stable operation over five years without measurable performance degradation.
The 6.75-inch HD+ display is specified at a pixel dimension of 720 by 1600, supports a 120Hz refresh refresh rate and a 240Hz touch reporting rate, can reach a maximum brightness of 670 nits, and presents a calculated screen-to-body apportionment of 90.3 percent.
Hardware and Software
At its core is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400, complemented by a Mali-G57 GPU. The configuration includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can expand to 2TB via microSD. The Hot 60i 5G operates on Android 15, layered with Infinix’s XOS 5.1 interface.
Infinix has integrated a suite of AI-enhanced functionality into the Hot 60i 5G, featuring Circle to Search, AI Call Translation, AI Summarisation, an AI Writing Assistant, an AI Eraser for image editing, and an AI Wallpaper Generator. For hands-free operation, the smartphone deploys the Folax voice assistant.

Camera Architecture
The rear optical configuration is led by a 50-megapixel main sensor exhibiting a focal ratio of f/1.6 and employing phase-detection autofocus. The frontal imaging system is constituted by a 5-megapixel unit that operates at f/2.0.
Power and Connectivity Subsystems
The device is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion cell with a nominal capacity of 6,000 mAh, which accepts 18W fast-charging for accelerated energy replenishment. For data and multimedia transmission, the Hot 60i 5G provides multi-band 5G NR connectivity, in addition to Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual-frequency GPS.
Ancillary interfaces include a programmable infrared transceiver for device control, a conventional 3.5 mm analog audio socket, and a reversible USB Type-C interface for both charging and high-speed data transfer.
Physical Dimensions
The Hot 60i 5G has a footprint of 167.64 x 77.67 x 8.14 mm and a mass of 199 grams.
