Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Launching in China This Month: Expected Features and Specs

What's the story

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is set to launch the Redmi Note 15 Pro series in China later this month, a rollout confirmed by GM Wang Teng Thomas in a Weibo update.

The series will comprise the Redmi Note 15 Pro and the premium Redmi Note 15 Pro+. Although complete specifications are still under wraps, the Pro+ is anticipated to offer satellite connectivity alongside a 7,000mAh battery.

Wang noted the Redmi Note series now spans over 100 markets and was the top-selling domestic smartphone in China between $175 and $499 during H1 2025. He asserted the new iterations would achieve “the top standards of 2025” in material quality and post-sale support.

Leaks circulating earlier reveal that the Note 15 Pro+ may adopt a quad-curved 1.5K display and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. The camera configuration is expected to consist of a dual rear setup, integrating a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto module.

A recent entry in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology database records the Redmi Pro+ under the identifier 25104RADAC and indicates compatibility with the BeiDou short message satellite communications service. Were this data corroborated, it would represent the inaugural implementation of satellite messaging capability in the Redmi Note product line.

Redmi has not independently verified the annotations published in the MIIT database; however, the proximity of the forthcoming presentation implies that formal disclosures from the brand can be anticipated in the immediate future.
